Cornwall Council: Mobile Satellite Broadband

The Challenge: The existing Broadband connection available to the Cornwall County Showground near Wadebridge was inadequate to host a scheduled teleconferencing event. Telephone lines supplying the remote location could not be upgraded to support faster service. 
 
Quiksilver: Communications Network for a Major Sporting Event

The Challenge: To provide a communications infrastructure versatile enough to serve a major European surfing event. The communications network would consist of five individual networks, each hosting a broadband connection, voice communication, judging system and distribution of live scoring to screens throughout the event site. The final requirement was a satellite link to allow a live broadcast of the event to be fed over the internet. 
 
Newquay Airport: Fire Station Public Address System

The Challenge: to provide a Public Address system throughout the Temporary Fire Station and the New Fire Station at Newquay Airport which would enable the airport to comply with aviation laws requiring air traffic communications to be audible throughout the working fire station at all times. 
 
AXA: Nationwide Local Area Network Upgrade

The Challenge: when AXA scheduled a nationwide upgrade of their Cisco switches, many sites required a Local Area Network (LAN) upgrade to accommodate the new switches. All sites were Business Critical so there could be no down time of the network and no one was to know the upgrade was taking place. In order to undertake this project all work was to occur out of hours. 
 
AXA PPP: Multi-purpose Audio Visual

The Challenge: When AXA PPP Healthcare wanted to convert their staff restaurant into a multi-purpose media and presentation suite they looked to Voicepath Ltd. 
The brief was to provide Audio Visual (AV) components into a space where AXA PPP staff could hold corporate meetings and events, private functions and social club meetings such as Cinema Club, Video Gaming Club and Poker Club. 
 
AXA: Network Infrastructure, Digital Signage Network & Audio Visual Requirements

When AXA, a world leader in financial protection acquired 16,500 sq ft of office space at the iconic Gherkin building, in the heart of London, a high specification data transmission system was needed for this prestigious office environment. Voicepath was asked to work directly with AXA Technology on the design and the choice of manufacturers for the network’s key requirements at the Gherkin site. 
 
UK Research Council: Upgrade Network Infrastructure

The Challenge: The UK Research Council, consisting of seven publicly funded agencies and incorporated by Royal Charter, wanted to upgrade their network infrastructure to Category 6 standard Belden IBDN 2400 System. 
 
The upgrade involved the installation of over 1800 data outlets scheduled over a 12 month period in 5 phases. Voicepath was chosen by Belden as the System Certified Vendor and would be required to work with two separate contractors as well as utilise two different installation methods. 
 
Tiger 24: High Resolution Beach Cameras

Tiger24 is a specialist website dedicated to bringing visitors high resolution webcam images of current surf and beach conditions. The images come from all over the UK and are updated every 60 seconds. 
 
Launceston Integrated Children's Centre: LAN, Voice and AV

Launceston Integrated Children’s Centre was commissioned by Cornwall Council and designed for children and their families to receive high quality integrated services and information within their communities. The Launceston Centre is a dual purpose facility occupied by Sure Start and the NHS. 
 
Longreach House: Wireless Solution

Longreach House (within the Camborne and Redruth Hospital campus, offering a range of services and support to people with mental health problems) When the NHS was looking for a wireless solution for their facility at Longreach House in Redruth, they called on BT to supply the wireless mounting hardware. 
 
Voicepath was chosen for the installation of the structured wiring and wireless hardware for their knowledge of the building and it’s infrastructure. Longreach House is a highly secure environment and surface containment is not allowed. 
 
Poltair School: Fibre and Copper Backbone

The Challenge: To install a fibre and copper backbone for the new buildings that could be integrated into the existing network whilst ensuring all critical communications and connectivity were maintained to existing buildings during demolition of redundant structures.
